Function of the
Council
A Planning and Review Council will provide
guidance to the Principal
Investigators and regional coordinator of the Gulf of Mexico Research
and Information
Needs
Project. The Planning and Review Council will:
The Council will bring advice and diverse viewpoints to the project, and be comprised of senior officials; community leaders; university representatives; federal and state agency representatives; and the public throughout the Gulf of Mexico. Effort will be made to have broad geographic and multi-disciplinary representation including Mexican representatives.
