The NOAA Gulf of Mexico Regional Team Engagement Inservice Workshop was held at the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel, 64 South Water St., Mobile, Alabama.

The U.S.S. Alabama and U.S.S. Drum, a battleship and submarine respectively, offer a chance to experience history close-up. Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center and IMAX
With more than 100 interactive exhibits, thought-provoking larger-than-life IMAX films, and fun, hands-on educational programming, the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center aspires to increase science literacy among the people of south Alabama and the Gulf Coast region, residents and visitors alike.
Bellingrath Gardens
This 65 acre Garden Estate is in full bloom with roses in the summer and chrysanthemums in autumn. On your self-guided walking tour, you will enjoy the 2004 Top Public Rose Garden in the U.S., as awarded by the All-America Rose Selections, experience the Bayou Boardwalk, marvel at Mirror Lake, behold the Great Lawn, view the Asian-American Gardens, stroll through the Butterfly Garden, observe formal garden terraces and more! The Gardens were the creation of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bellingrath. The Gardens first opened to the public in 1932 while a national garden club meeting was taking place in Mobile.
