Bays and Bayous to offer continuing education credits

The Mississippi-Alabama Bays and Bayous Symposium will offer 1.3 Continuing Education Units or 13 contact hours through Auburn University. Participants should check with their regulatory boards to make sure they will accept the credits.

The symposium will take place Oct. 28-29 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center in Biloxi. More than 150 presenters will discuss coastal issues involving living resources, water resources, natural hazards resiliency, the ocean’s role in climate, education and outreach, community stewardship and habitat management and restoration.
