Areas of Research Sea Grant is interested in applied marine scholarship of direct benefit to stakeholders in coastal and oceanic ecosystems. Whether a rapid response to an immediate need, or long-term research to develop new technologies, or work to broaden fundamental knowledge of complex marine systems, Sea Grant assists researchers and public leaders to address vital issues in marine and coastal environments. Our advisory specialists and educators are expert in transferring new knowledge and approaches to benefit the people who need it. MASGC is an organization concerned with developing new initiatives with partners interested in sustainable ecological and economic development on our coastlines and watersheds.
